El ejercicio parece reducir el envejecimiento celular causado por el estrés

ejercicios-estresLos investigadores de los Estados Unidos encontraron que un poco de ejercicio vigoroso podría reducir en envejecimiento prematuro causado por el estrés crónico.

El estudio dirigido por un equipo de la Universidad de California en San Francisco sostiene que los hallazgos descubiertos a nivel celular, demuestran que tan sólo un poquito de ejercicio vigoroso diariamente podría conferir cierta protección contra cambios a nivel de cromosomas en las células de las personas sometidas a un estrés crónico.

Estos cambios serían la aparición de lo que se conoce como telómeros cortos o brazos cortos de los cromosomas, los cuales estarían también ligados a otros problemas de salud que también incluyen problemas de corazón, muerte súbita, etc.

Un grupo que se beneficiaría serían las mujeres de la tercera edad, las cuales tendrían un efecto protector en el largo de los telómeros, dado que este grupo estaría en riesgo de tener estrés psicológico promovido por el envejecimiento de las células de defensa.

Se vió que las personas muy estresadas pero que hacían constantemente ejercicio no tenían estos efectos sobre los telómeros , es decir que el ejercicio podría ofrecer un efecto protector a personas que tienen una gran cantidad de estrés diariamente.

Como vemos el ejercicio es muy importante y debe ser considerado como una terapia y tratamiento contra el estrés que recibimos, el cual causa daños a nuestras células y por ende nos causa enfermedades a todo nivel.

Exploring the Link Between Circadian Rhythms, Longevity, and Wearable Data: Insights and Future Directions

A recent study in NHANES 2011–2014 explores the potential connection between disruptions in circadian rhythms, measured using wearable devices, and their impact on health outcomes and longevity. The study analyzes data from 7,297 U.S. adults collected through wearable accelerometers as a novel digital biomarker for longevity. Five distinct clusters were identified based on activity profiles: "High activity," "Low activity," "Mild circadian rhythm (CR) disruption," "Severe CR disruption," and "Very low activity." The findings reveal that young adults with extreme circadian rhythm disturbance exhibit higher white blood cell counts and accelerated biological aging.
